Editorial Policy
This policy governs all content published by The Crypto Syndicate. It applies to research reports, exchange investigations, altcoin dossiers, market notes, podcast commentary, and any other material that appears on this site.
Independence
The Crypto Syndicate does not accept payment for coverage. No exchange, token project, fund, or third party can purchase inclusion, favorable treatment, or editorial influence. If we ever introduce sponsored content in the future, it will be clearly labeled and separated from editorial material.
Source Standards
We prioritize verifiable, primary sources:
- Regulatory filings and enforcement actions
- On-chain transaction data
- Platform-published communications and documentation
- Court records and legal filings
- Credible third-party reporting from established publications
When we reference secondary sources, we identify them. When we rely on user-reported information, we say so and note the limitations.
Accuracy and Corrections
We verify factual claims before publication. When we get something wrong, we correct it transparently:
- Material corrections are noted at the top of the affected article
- Minor corrections (typos, formatting, non-substantive clarifications) are made without annotation
- We do not silently alter published analysis to change conclusions or remove embarrassing assessments
Commentary vs. Reporting
We label opinion and commentary pieces explicitly. When an article contains both reporting and editorial assessment, we signal the transition clearly. Readers should always be able to distinguish between what happened and what we think about what happened.
Speculative Assets
Crypto assets are speculative. We do not issue investment advice, trading signals, or buy/sell recommendations. Our analysis is informational and educational. Readers should consult qualified financial advisors before making investment decisions.
Conflicts of Interest
If an analyst covering a specific token or exchange holds a position in that asset, it will be disclosed. We do not trade based on unpublished research.
